The Aura device, like many IoT devices, requires a WiFi network of 2.4 GHz, one that does not have a firewall enabled, and a WiFi network that is in range.
A device that is having an issue connecting to your local WiFi network could be because of a few different issues: The router is too far away from the device. The network is not 2.4 GHz. A firewall is enabled.
The best way to verify your device’s connectivity is to connect it to a Mobile Hotspot (on a different mobile than the one being used with the app).If the device is able to pair with a Mobile Hotspot, the issue is with your local wifi network (Likely a firewall or network compatibility issue).
Start from the top:
Step 1: Forget Aura-XXX on your mobile network list (by clicking on it and then clicking forget)
Step 2: Unplug your Aura device from the electricity.
Step 3: Click the Setup button for 13 seconds or until the LED is fast blinking green and wait for the following LED sequence:

Release the setup button.
Step 4: Start the installation process of the device from the beginning.
Mobile HotSpot Connectivity
Another way to connect your Aura Air device is to pair it to a Mobile Hotspot (on a different mobile than the one being used with the app). This will provide a temporary solution for connectivity.
Inside the Aura Air package, you will find the Aura Air, a wall adapter, plugs that will fit most electrical outlets (US, Europe, and Australia), a Smart JIG to help you design and hang your new Aura Air device, and all the necessary screws, anchors and washers for installation.
When you want to pair your Aura Air device, it will need to be in Listening Mode (blinking green). If it isn’t blinking green, click the set-up button for 3 seconds and it will enter Listening Mode.
